Peugeot Rifter K9 (2018-2022) has fuse boxes in the passenger compartment and under the bonnet. This guide shows their locations, the original diagrams and all assignments listed in the relevant handbook tables.
The first-generation Rifter was available with different engines and equipment. These tables cover selected manufacturer-documented circuits, not every physical slot in either fuse box. Missing entries should not be assumed to be unused; confirm the actual car’s fuse positions and ratings against its handbook and box cover.
Where are the fuse boxes in a Peugeot Rifter?
Inside the cabin: in left-hand-drive cars, the fuse panel is at the lower left of the dashboard near the driver’s footwell. With the ignition switched off, release the lower cover from its top-left edge and then from the right. Right-hand-drive versions may have a different access arrangement.
Under the bonnet: the second fuse box is next to the 12 V battery. Release both catches marked A, lift away the lid and locate the required fuse using its diagram. Close the lid carefully and engage both catches to maintain the seal.

The owner’s handbook identifies four specific positions for fog lamps, high beams and wipers. This is not a complete inventory of all engine management, ABS or emissions-related fuses inside the engine bay box. Some assignments vary with model year, engine and country.
| Position | Amperage [A] | Protected circuit / function |
|---|---|---|
| F16 | 15 | Front fog lamp |
| F18 | 10 | Right-hand high-beam headlamp |
| F19 | 10 | Left-hand high-beam headlamp |
| F29 | 40 | Windscreen wipers |
Which fuses should you check first?
Front 12 V socket: cabin F32 (15 A). Rear 12 V socket: cabin F7 (10 A). Unplug any suspect accessory before investigating a non-working socket.
Windscreen wipers: engine-bay F29 (40 A). Washer pump: cabin F6 (20 A). If a fuse is good, the fault may instead be in the motor, pump, connector or wiring.
Radio or touchscreen: cabin F29 (20 A). USB port: cabin F36 (5 A). Take care: there is also an F29 in the engine compartment, but it protects a different circuit.
Peugeot Rifter K9 fuse box FAQ
Which fuses protect the front and rear 12 V outlets?
Cabin F32 (15 A) supplies the front outlet and cabin F7 (10 A) supplies the rear outlet.
Where are the headlight high-beam fuses?
Under the bonnet: F18 (10 A) is the right-hand high beam and F19 (10 A) is the left-hand high beam. F16 (15 A) protects the front fog lamp.
Are all vehicle fuses included in these tables?
No. The tables retain all positions explicitly listed in the relevant handbook overview. Other protection may depend on equipment, engine, market and model year.
Does an older Peugeot Partner or Citroen Berlingo fuse diagram apply?
Not automatically. The Rifter is based on the K9 vehicle architecture; earlier Partner II Tepee and Berlingo II B9 generations use different layouts. Compare the exact generation and fuse box before attempting a repair.
