Renault Megane E-Tech Electric (2022-on) – Fuse Box Diagrams

The Renault Megane E-Tech Electric (2022 onward) is a battery-electric car, separate from the petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid Megane IV. Its accessible low-voltage fuses are located behind the glovebox, with a 43-position numbered listing and seven additional pictogram-based functions in the manufacturer’s instructions.

These listings cover different trim packages and do not give a universal amperage for every fuse. A dash in the amperage column means the source did not specify a rating, not that any replacement rating is acceptable. Read the value on the original fuse and the label for your vehicle and VIN.

Where are the Renault Megane E-Tech Electric fuse boxes?

Glovebox panel A: after switching the car off, open the glovebox using button 1, rotate and remove the two stops numbered 2, release retaining cord 3 and lower the cover to reveal fuse holder 4. Refit the glovebox stops and cord carefully afterwards.

Additional cover D: certain versions include a separate access panel marked D. Release the cover catches at 5. The original fuse puller is kept at position 6 near the fuse holder. Never tug at wiring or disassemble high-voltage housings.

Renault Megane E-Tech Electric – 43 numbered fuse positions

The numbered panel covers steering assistance, ABS/ESP, electric windows, body electronics, trailer equipment, accessories, multimedia, charging management, diagnostics and interior lighting. Because the manufacturer does not provide one ampere rating for every configuration, no values have been invented.

Fuse functions shown using Renault pictograms

Some versions use a symbol label behind the glovebox or inside cover D rather than universal numeric assignments. These seven entries describe the corresponding functions, without inventing individual positions or amperages.

Position Amperage [A] Protected circuit
Turn signals and hazard lights – Turn-signal and hazard warning light supply
Brake lights – Brake light circuit
Rear window wiper – Rear window wiper motor and controls
Power windows – One-touch power window operation
Trailer socket – Towbar wiring connection
Multimedia – Multimedia accessory sockets and display
12 V outlets / cigarette lighter – Accessory sockets in the first and second seat rows

Which fuse protects the cigarette lighter or 12 V power outlet?

On the numbered version, position 30 is the first-row accessory power socket. For a pictogram-labelled panel, locate the symbol for first- and second-row 12 V accessory outlets and confirm the rated fuse on the actual panel. Unplug a charger or compressor before inspecting the circuit.

EV40, EV60 and other Megane versions

The fully electric Megane E-Tech launched in 2022. Battery option, equipment and model-year revisions can change some fuse assignments. Its diagrams do not apply to the combustion-engine Megane IV or Megane E-Tech Plug-in Hybrid.

For other electric models, consult the Volkswagen ID.3 and Skoda Enyaq fuse diagrams. Their fuse locations are not interchangeable with this Renault.

When a replacement blows again, investigate the connected equipment and wiring. Never raise the amperage or bridge terminals. High-voltage charging and traction components are not intended for ordinary fuse service; avoid orange cables and protected equipment.

Renault Megane E-Tech Electric fuse box FAQ

Where is the cabin fuse panel?

Behind glovebox cover A. Remove its stops and retaining cord using the steps in the owner’s manual.

Which fuse supplies the 12 V first-row accessory outlet?

Position 30 in the numbered version. A pictogram-labelled configuration requires identifying the corresponding socket symbol.

Does this layout apply to Megane Plug-in Hybrid?

No. These diagrams apply to the battery-electric Megane E-Tech Electric, not the hybrid model.

Why are the amperage values shown as dashes?

The general Renault reference does not state one correct rating for every option and market. Confirm the value on the original fuse and model-specific documentation.
