Suzuki Ignis III (2021) – Fuse Box Diagrams K12C, K12D and Cabin

Suzuki Ignis III (2021) has two main fuse-box locations: an engine compartment unit beside the 12 V battery and a passenger compartment unit beneath the driver’s dashboard. The official Suzuki owner’s manual dated February 2021 shows two different engine fuse arrangements: one for the K12C/K12M engines with 36 numbered positions and another for the K12D engine with 35 numbered positions. The cabin fuse box contains 38 positions.

This guide contains all 109 source entries across three complete fuse tables, including empty slots, original amperage values and three original model-specific diagrams. The engine charts are not interchangeable, even when both describe a starter, blower, power steering or ABS. Some fuses serve only CVT, automatic stop/start, optional fog lamps or automatic headlamp configurations.

Where are the Suzuki Ignis 2021 fuse boxes?

Engine bay: switch off the ignition, release the bonnet and locate the covered fuse holder next to the 12 V battery. Gently release the plastic lid clips and compare its internal layout with the correct engine code before removing a fuse. The K12C/K12M and K12D holders have different fuse numbers and functions.

Passenger compartment: find the fuse holder underneath the driver’s side of the dashboard. The fuse position and rating on the vehicle’s fuse cover take precedence if trim, electrical equipment or market-specific installation differs from these charts.

Ignis III 2021 K12C and K12M – engine fuse positions 1-36

This chart covers five main FL1-FL5 power feeds, steering assistance, automatic headlights, air conditioning, the starter, radiator fan, CVT gearbox, fuel injection and ABS. Key positions are 6 (40 A) power steering, 12 (30 A) starter, 13 (30 A) radiator fan, 22 (30 A) interior blower, 31 (40 A) ABS actuator and 32 (25 A) ABS solenoids. Fuse 14 and 29 have functions specific to certain CVT/automatic stop-start versions. Empty locations retain their dashes.

Suzuki Ignis 2021 12 V outlet, starter and ABS fuse checks

For a dead accessory socket, remove connected chargers and inspect cabin fuse 32 (15 A); also check the socket for a short circuit. For a front wiper fault inspect cabin 37 (25 A) and washer pump 36 (15 A), while the rear wiper is 34 (10 A). A starter issue requires the correct engine diagram: K12C/K12M position 12 (30 A) or K12D position 23 (30 A), plus the starter-control circuit.

ABS high-current protection also varies by engine. In K12C/K12M, check engine fuse 31 (40 A) for the actuator and 32 (25 A) for valves. In K12D, the corresponding entries are 19 (40 A) and 18 (25 A). Always investigate the diagnostic fault code before assuming the fuse is the sole cause of a warning lamp.

Suzuki Ignis III 2021 fuse box FAQ

Which fuse protects the cigarette lighter or accessory 12 V socket?

Cabin fuse position 32, rated 15 A, in the documented 2021 installation.

Do K12C and K12D engines use the same engine fuse box numbering?

No. The K12C/K12M manual shows 36 engine fuse positions, while the K12D version shows 35 with different assignments.

Where is the front windscreen wiper fuse?

Passenger-compartment position 37 (25 A).

Why are some fuse table cells marked “-“?

They represent unused or unassigned positions in the original factory chart and must not be filled with guessed fuse values.

Does this chart also apply to later Ignis model years?

Check the model-year owner’s manual, engine code and fuse-cover legend first; changes are possible.

The diagrams and ratings are based on the Suzuki Ignis owner’s manual, February 2021 edition, inspection and maintenance chapter, fuse pages 7-37 to 7-41. Use only the manufacturer’s prescribed fuse type and ampere value. Main 100-150 A fuses require appropriate service precautions.
