The Citroen C8 after the 2012 facelift uses three main fuse groups: one below the dashboard, one in the battery compartment under the floor and one in the engine bay. The layout is similar to late pre-facelift cars but is not completely identical – among other changes, the engine compartment fuse box has an additional F15 position associated with central locking and the child-lock system.
The information below applies to the final C8 version produced after the second facelift, from 2012 to 2014. The term “Mk3” is sometimes used in online catalogues, but technically this was not a separate third C8 generation; it was another facelift of the same model.

Fuse box locations
The dashboard fuse box is located behind the lower storage compartment on the right-hand side. Open the compartment and pull the cover handle to access the fuses.
The battery-compartment fuse box is located under the floor in front of the right front seat. It contains both standard comfort-equipment fuses and several high-current MAXI fuses.
The engine compartment fuse box is located to the left of the coolant reservoir. It mainly protects engine management, the fuel system, ABS/ESP, starter control, air conditioning, wipers and part of the central-locking system.
Dashboard fuse box
The large diagram below shows the fuse box itself without the rest of the owner’s manual page. The individual positions are clearly visible, making it easy to compare the drawing directly with the module in the vehicle.

F15 and F16 should be distinguished. In this electrical-system version they do not form one common circuit – F15 is assigned to passenger-side locking, while F16 handles general door lock/unlock control.
Battery-compartment fuse box
The fuse box is under the floor in front of the right front seat. Its characteristic arrangement of positions 1-4 and 31-40 makes it easy to distinguish from the older fuse box using positions F1-F12.

* Positions 1-4 are MAXI fuses. The manufacturer recommends against substituting these fuses casually or fitting a different amperage.
In older documentation from the 2008 transition period, position 38 may be assigned to xenon high-beam headlights. In the later C8 documentation it is marked unused. This is one reason not to apply the earlier C8 diagram automatically to a 2012-2014 vehicle.
Engine compartment fuse box
The diagram below shows the late fuse-box layout used in the C8. It is a drawing of the module itself, so the fuse numbers can be read without enlarging a full owner’s manual page.

F14 is physically a 30 A fuse position, but its function is marked unused in the 2012-2014 C8 documentation. This is more precise than listing only a dash for F14.
F15 is another important difference compared with some earlier C8 documentation. In the late layout it is 30 A for child-lock and central-locking control.
Key differences from the earlier C8
The post-2012 facelift C8 retained the basic electrical architecture of late pre-facelift vehicles, but a similar fuse-box appearance alone is not enough when identifying a fuse.
- the dashboard fuse box has separate F15 and F16 30 A positions related to locking,
- in the battery fuse box, F38 15 A is unused in the late-version documentation,
- in the engine bay, F14 is rated at 30 A but marked unused,
- the engine fuse box has F15 30 A associated with the child-lock and central-locking system.
If the vehicle has different physical numbering from the diagrams above, return to the C8 2008-2012 diagrams and establish the actual electrical-system version.
A technical relative of the C8 is the Peugeot 807. Both belong to the same family of large PSA vans, but even when their modules look similar, fuse ratings should not be transferred between them without checking model year and configuration.
MAXI fuses and relays
The C8 owner’s manual separates ordinary user-checkable fuses from additional MAXI protection. MAXI fuses protect high-current circuits including the electric sliding doors and trailer wiring.
The manufacturer does not provide one complete universal C8 relay table in the standard owner’s manual. Full relay information and some BSM module circuits depend on engine, market and equipment. For this reason, we do not assign R1-R6 numbers to every 2012-2014 C8 without identifying the specific module.
