The Cupra Born (introduced in 2021) has a passenger compartment fuse panel, a separate fuse box under the front bonnet and additional power-seat fuses in certain variants. The tables below reproduce the 2022 Cupra Born manufacturer’s fuse assignments: 40 cabin fuse entries, 2 seat adjustment fuse entries and 18 front-compartment entries.
Fuse ratings and fitted equipment can differ by model year, market and vehicle specification. The original tables include only documented fuse positions, without adding unused slots that the manufacturer did not list. Always inspect the actual fuse box label on your vehicle before replacing a fuse.
Where are the Cupra Born fuse boxes?
Passenger compartment: on left-hand-drive cars, the fuse panel is underneath the dashboard to the left of the steering column. On right-hand-drive cars, access is behind the glove compartment cover. Turn the ignition and drive system off before opening it.

Front compartment: a second fuse box is located beneath the bonnet, protected by a plastic cover with clips. It supplies various low-voltage circuits for the electric drive controller, headlamps, windscreen wipers, cooling and brakes.

12 V accessory socket, USB and display fuses
The luggage compartment 12 V socket is protected by cabin fuse 52 (20 A). Rear USB charging uses 48 (7.5 A). Display and optional head-up display components use 46 (7.5 A). Connectivity functions are assigned to position 23 (5 A), and instrument/OCU4 communications to position 19 (5 A).
Under the bonnet, position 3 (10 A) supplies the charging-control and voltage-converter electronics. Positions 25 and 26 (10 A each) are associated with thermal-management control. These must not be confused with serviceable high-voltage traction protection.
Which Cupra Born model years use these diagrams?
These are 2022 assignments, and fitment can change with the equipment package, panoramic roof, head-up display, cameras, seat massage and later model-year revisions. Do not assume the same arrangement is used throughout the entire production run.
The Volkswagen ID.3 E11 is closely related to the Born through Volkswagen Group’s MEB architecture. The Skoda Enyaq and Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5 also use the MEB platform, but their fuse locations and equipment should be checked separately.
