Mercury Grand Marquis 2003-2011 is the final Grand Marquis generation on Ford’s Panther platform. Its fuse assignments changed repeatedly during production, especially across the 2003-2004, 2005-2006 and 2007-2011 groups.
Because many fuse numbers were reused for different functions and ratings, every model-year variant is retained as a separate row. For the preceding generation, see Mercury Grand Marquis 1998-2002.

Commonly checked fuses
- Fuel pump: under-hood position 5 – 20 A on 2003-2004. From 2005, position 4 – 20 A supplies the fuel-pump relay feed and relay 206 is used for the fuel circuit.
- Cigarette lighter / OBD-II: cabin position 25 – 15 A on 2003-2004; position 27 – 20 A on 2005-2006; position 16 – 20 A on 2007-2008 supplies the lighter and OBD-II; position 16 – 20 A supplies OBD-II on 2009-2011.
- Low beams: cabin positions 24 and 26 on 2003-2004, and positions 19 and 21 from 2005.
- ABS: assignments vary by year across both the under-hood and cabin panels; use the exact year row rather than only the fuse number.
FAQ – Mercury Grand Marquis 2003-2011 fuses
Why does one fuse number appear several times?
Mercury reused the same fuse positions with different ratings and functions as the electrical system changed. The repeated rows are intentional and correspond to different model years.
Where is the OBD-II fuse?
On 2005-2006 cars, check cabin position 27 – 20 A. On 2007-2011 cars, check position 16 – 20 A. On 2007-2008 that circuit also supplies the cigarette lighter.
Where is the fuel-pump fuse?
For 2003-2004, the main under-hood fuel-pump fuse is position 5 – 20 A. From 2005 the design changes and position 4 – 20 A supplies the fuel-pump relay circuit.
Can the 2003 fuse table be used for a 2010 Grand Marquis?
No. The later electrical layout differs substantially in both the Power Distribution Box and the passenger fuse panel.
