Skoda Rapid (2016) – Fuse Box Diagrams

Skoda Rapid (2016) has a 59-position fuse panel in the passenger compartment and a separate 20-position engine compartment fuse panel. The electrical assignment changed from earlier 2012-2014 cars, particularly for 12 V power outlets, wipers and optional Start/Stop/KESSY equipment. This reference reproduces the 2016 model-year listing rather than borrowing later 2017 circuit functions.

All 79 fuse positions in two complete tables and the original two schematics are retained. The archived reference specifies position and consumer but does not give amperages, so every rating remains unspecified; use the fuse lid and exact manual to select the appropriate value.

Where are the 2016 Skoda Rapid fuse boxes?

The passenger panel is behind the driver-side lower dashboard access cover. The engine panel sits in a protected fuse holder near the 12 V battery. With ignition off, compare the physical fuse numbers and handbook; left- and right-hand-drive layouts can differ in access.

Rapid 2016 engine fuse positions 1-20

Front wipers: engine position 8. Starter motor: position 16. Radiator fan: position 1. ABS/ESC: positions 3 and 10. The 2016 reference distinguishes additional electric heater circuits 2 and 3 at engine positions 4 and 5, respectively, and gives only broad engine-component assignments for 12, 14 and 18.

Model-year differences: Rapid 2012-2013, 2016 and 2017

The 2015 Rapid still lists the cigarette lighter at dashboard position 47, whereas the 2016 reference uses 44. The 2012-2013 Rapid lists the cigarette lighter and luggage socket at position 47, whereas this 2016 reference uses position 44. The 2017 Rapid retains the 44 assignment but documents newer optional circuits, including heated windscreen and rear-seat heat in certain vehicles.

There are also differences in cabin 2, 14, 15, 18, 22, 31, 32, 58 and in under-bonnet positions 4, 5, 9, 12, 14, 15 and 18. Do not assume the same options or ratings based solely on the number of fuse slots.

Skoda Rapid 2016 fuse box FAQ

Where is the cigarette lighter fuse?

Dashboard position 44 in this 2016 reference; use the vehicle handbook for the precise ampere rating.

Which fuse protects the rear wiper?

Dashboard fuse 27. The front windscreen wiper motor is listed at engine position 8.

Why do the engine descriptions differ from the 2017 Rapid?

Optional heating, charging, safety and engine-control equipment changed. The 2016 functions are reproduced separately rather than overwritten with 2017 data.

Why are ampere values absent?

The source only gives fuse numbers and consumers. Never infer a fuse rating from a later model or from a differently equipped vehicle.

Use the exact factory specified fuse type and rating; repeated failure requires circuit diagnosis.
