Dacia Logan I (2005-2013) – Fuse Box and Relay Diagrams

The first-generation Dacia Logan I (L90, 2005-2013) has a fuse box at the driver’s side edge of the dashboard and another near the battery under the bonnet. Depending on production date, 1.4/1.6 petrol or 1.5 dCi diesel engine and equipment, cars may feature two fundamentally different engine compartment distribution layouts. They are shown separately below to prevent mixing fuse numbers.

The interior table covers 31 labelled entries (including grouped spare positions), and there are separate engine-bay type 1 and type 2 sections. Fuse and relay allocations differ between configurations, so identify your actual engine-bay housing before selecting any protection element.

Where are Dacia Logan I fuse boxes?

Cabin: open the driver’s door and remove the fuse-cover panel on the left end of the dashboard. Under the bonnet: the fuse and relay units are by the battery. Some vehicles contain several labelled modules such as 597A, 597B, 597C and 597D instead of the single type 1 assembly. Always switch off the ignition and compare the panel cover with the chart.

Only positions assigned a function in the documented source are listed. Some spare sockets are grouped as F05-F08 and F13-F14 is used for electric windows depending on equipment. F38 (10 A) protects the cigarette lighter and ignition-switched radio feed, whereas permanent radio supply is listed on F28 (15 A).

Dacia Logan engine compartment fuse box: type 1

This unit uses six F01-F06 positions. It protects ignition, cooling fan feed, engine management, the fuel pump relay and passenger-compartment fuse supplies. Do not use these F numbers to identify similarly labelled slots in the distributed type 2 modules.

Position Rating [A] / type Protected circuit / function
F01 60 Ignition switch, accessory feed and lighting switch
F02 30 Radiator cooling fan relay feed on cars without air conditioning
F03 25 Fuel pump relay K5 and main engine management power supply
F04 5 Permanent ECU feed and main engine control relay coil
F05 15 Reserve or unused position
F06 60 Main passenger compartment fuse panel supply

Dacia Logan type 1 engine relays K1-K8

Eight K-labelled positions may control the cabin blower, radiator fan, air conditioning, injection system, fuel pump, headlamp washers and front fog lights. Exact relay installation depends on whether features such as air conditioning are fitted.

Position Rating [A] / type Protected circuit / function
K1 Relay Heater blower motor
K2 Relay Radiator cooling fan
K3 Relay Low-speed cooling fan on air-conditioned versions
K4 Relay Air-conditioning compressor electromagnetic clutch
K5 Relay Fuel pump and ignition coils
K6 Relay Injectors, heated oxygen sensor, EVAP solenoid and engine equipment relays
K7 Relay Headlamp washer pump
K8 Relay Front fog lamps

Dacia Logan engine compartment fuse box: type 2

This alternate installation uses separately labelled assemblies including 597A, 597B, 597C and 597D. 597A-F1 and 597B-F1 are different positions. Full designations are preserved, along with individual circuits and additional relay references such as 1047-236.

Which fuses protect the cigarette lighter, radio, wipers and headlights?

Cigarette lighter / 12 V socket: cabin F38 (10 A). Radio: cabin F28 (15 A) for permanent supply and F38 (10 A) for ignition-switched supply.

Front wipers: cabin F01 (20 A). Rear wiper: cabin F27 (20 A) on fitted models. Horn: cabin F17 (15 A). Heater blower: cabin F36 and F39 (both 30 A), with relay K1 on type 1 layouts.

Low-beam headlights: cabin F09 (10 A) left and F10 (10 A) right. High beams: F11 and F12 (10 A each). A no-start fault should also be checked against the actual engine-bay distribution layout and its fuel-pump/main ECU relays, not just the cabin chart.

The second-generation Dacia Sandero II fuse diagrams use another panel arrangement; neither that model nor the Logan MCV should be assumed to have identical fuse populations.

Dacia Logan I fuse box FAQ

Which fuse protects the cigarette lighter?

Dashboard F38, rated at 10 A, in the documented 2005-2013 layout.

Where is the cabin fuse panel?

Behind the cover at the driver’s end of the dashboard, accessible when the door is open.

Is engine-bay F01 always the same fuse?

No. Type 1 and type 2 fuse blocks have different locations and function labels; do not mix their numbering.

Which fuse protects the front wipers?

Cabin F01 (20 A) in the documented configuration.

Replace only with the correct fuse rating and type. Repeated fuse failure calls for diagnosis of the protected circuit.
