The Kia XCeed CD (introduced in 2019) uses a fuse panel behind the driver’s lower dashboard trim and a power distribution box in the engine compartment. The detailed assignments below are based on the 2022 Kia XCeed owner’s documentation and include 40 cabin fuses, 61 engine compartment fuse entries and 17 relays.
Important: fuse allocations may change by engine, transmission, mild-hybrid system, market and model year. Some components appear only in specific petrol, diesel, DCT or other equipment versions. Confirm the rating and position using the diagram on your vehicle’s fuse box cover before replacing a fuse.
Where are the fuse boxes in a Kia XCeed?
Cabin panel: on left-hand-drive vehicles, the fuse box is to the left of the steering column, behind the removable lower dashboard cover. Switch off the ignition, pull open the trim cover gently and check the fuse diagram on its inner side.

Engine compartment: the second fuse box is located near the 12 V battery. Switch off the ignition and carefully release the lid clips. Avoid contact between metal tools and exposed battery terminals. Reseat the cover tightly to prevent moisture entering.

Does the same diagram apply to every Kia XCeed year?
No. The 2022 model update introduced equipment and drivetrain changes, and cars from different markets may use different fuse layouts. Plug-in hybrid models may have additional fuse assemblies. These diagrams specifically illustrate the 2022 versions documented by Kia; for 2019, 2024 or later vehicles, compare the labels with the relevant owner’s manual.
The related 2025 Kia Sportage NQ5 fuse guide and 2025 Kia Sorento MQ4 fuse guide cover different vehicle platforms and should not be used as direct substitutes for XCeed diagrams.
Common electrical issues and checks
12 V outlet does not work: disconnect chargers and inspect the cabin POWER OUTLET (20 A) fuse. If it blows again, look for a damaged socket or faulty accessory.
Wipers or washers do not work: check cabin WIPER (10 A), WASHER (15 A) and engine compartment WIPER (25 A), as applicable. If the fuses are sound, a motor, pump, switch or wiring fault is possible.
Cabin blower stops: inspect the engine compartment BLOWER (40 A) and related A/C fuses in the cabin. Never replace a fuse with a larger rating to bypass a recurring failure.
Kia XCeed fuse box FAQ
Where is the cigarette lighter or 12 V socket fuse?
The cabin POWER OUTLET fuse is rated at 20 A in the 2022 documentation. Other outlets may use separate 20 A fuses in the engine compartment.
Where is the engine compartment fuse box?
Next to the battery under the bonnet. Use the diagram inside the fuse box lid to identify the arrangement fitted to your engine.
Are the 2024 XCeed fuse boxes identical?
Not necessarily. Equipment and drivetrain revisions can change the fuse layout and ratings. Use the correct year and engine documentation.
