Mercury Mariner (2005-2007) – Fuse Box Diagrams and Relays

Mercury Mariner 2005-2007 uses two main fuse boxes: the passenger-compartment fuse panel on the right side of the center console and the Power Distribution Box in the engine compartment. Some assignments differ by model year and engine, especially the rear-wiper and cooling-fan circuits.

The 2.3-liter and 3.0-liter engines use different cooling-fan ratings, and the 2007 rear-wiper circuit differs from 2005-2006. Those variants are retained as separate rows rather than being merged.

For the next generation, see Mercury Mariner 2008-2011.

Fuse-box locations

Passenger compartment: on the right side of the center console next to the instrument panel. Engine compartment: the Power Distribution Box contains the high-current fuses and relays.

FAQ – Mercury Mariner 2005-2007 fuses

Where is the cigarette-lighter fuse?

Cabin position 24 – 20 A.

Where is the fuel-pump fuse and relay?

The fuel pump uses under-hood position 6 – 20 A and relay R3.

Why does position 21 have two ratings?

The rear-wiper circuit uses 10 A on 2005-2006 vehicles and 15 A on 2007 vehicles.

Are the cooling-fan fuses the same for the 2.3 and 3.0 engines?

No. Positions 22 and 24 are rated 40 A for the 2.3 L engine and 50 A for the 3.0 L engine.
