Peugeot 207 (2006-2008) – Fuse Box Diagrams and Ratings

Peugeot 207 (2006-2008) has a fuse panel behind the lower driver’s side dashboard and another covered fuse box beside the battery under the bonnet. Additional high-current MF1-MF11 supplies protect important systems. This guide includes 48 original fuse and jumper positions from the early 207 electrical configurations.

Different 1.4, 1.6, 1.6 THP and HDi engines, transmissions and equipment packages can change a fuse’s function and rating. The tables keep the year-dependent assignments separate. For example, starter control F8 may be rated 20 A or 25 A, depending on the wiring and handbook. Always confirm your fuse-box lid and original fuse, never install a higher-rated replacement.

Where are Peugeot 207 fuse boxes?

Cabin: on left-hand-drive European vehicles the panel is behind a cover in the lower left dashboard, on the driver’s side. Right-hand-drive cars can have access near the glovebox. Switch off the ignition before removing the panel cover.

Engine compartment: the covered fuse holder is beside the battery. It houses the fuel pump, starter, headlamp, wiper and engine management circuits; high-current MF links may be fitted in an additional section. Their inspection may require a workshop procedure.

Peugeot 207 2006-2008 cabin fuses F1-F17, SH, G39 and G40

The original cabin drawing includes the ordinary numbered slots, a SH PARC power-configuration jumper and G39/G40 equipment positions. SH is not a conventional blade fuse. G39 is associated with a Hi-Fi amplifier on some 2006-2007 cars but can be unused in 2008.

Peugeot 207 under-bonnet fuses F1-F18

The front panel protects ABS control, engine management, the fuel pump, electric steering, air-conditioning, wipers, the horn and independently protected left/right headlights. Diesel and 1.6 THP hardware does not appear in every petrol model.

Position Rating [A] / type Protected circuit / function
F1 20 Engine controller and radiator fan controls; on diesels also mass airflow meter, injection pump, water-in-fuel sensor, EGR solenoids and intake heating; on 1.6 THP selected solenoids
F2 15 Horn
F3 10 Front and rear windscreen washer pumps
F4 20 Headlamp washers, if fitted
F5 15 Petrol fuel pump; also turbocharger control on some 1.6 THP models
F6 10 Vehicle speed sensor and automatic gearbox system
F7 10 Electric power steering, directional headlamps and selected diesel circuits
F8 20 or 25 Starter control, with 20 A or 25 A depending on wiring version and model-year documentation
F9 10 ABS/ESP controller and brake pedal switch
F10 30 Engine control actuators including coils, injectors, oxygen sensors and solenoids; on diesels also preheating
F11 40 Cabin heater and air-conditioning blower motor

F14 30 Diesel fuel heater
F15 10 Left high-beam headlamp
F16 10 Right high-beam headlamp
F17 15 Left dipped-beam headlamp
F18 15 Right dipped-beam headlamp

Starter fuse F8: a documented 20 A or 25 A specification depends on the model and wiring. Confirm the precise rating against the fuse installed in your vehicle, rather than swapping these values between versions.

Peugeot 207 MAXI fuses MF1-MF11

The MF positions are high-current links for the fan, ABS/ESP, Body Systems Interface (BSI), gearbox equipment, diesel heating and electric steering. MF6 and MF11 are associated with some 1.6 THP versions; they are not fitted identically to all models.

Position Rating [A] / type Protected circuit / function
MF1 70 Main radiator cooling fan supply
MF2 20 / 30 ABS/ESP hydraulic pump, equipment-dependent
MF3 20 / 30 ABS/ESP solenoid valves, equipment-dependent
MF4 60 Body Systems Interface (BSI) supply
MF5 60 Additional Body Systems Interface (BSI) supply
MF6 30 / – Additional fan on 2007-2008 1.6 THP; unused in other configurations
MF7 80 Passenger compartment fuse box power feed
MF8 30 / – 2 Tronic gearbox control module, if fitted

Common Peugeot 207 fuses

Cigarette lighter or 12 V outlet: cabin F9 (30 A). Rear wiper: cabin F1 (15 A). Front wipers: engine F12 (30 A). Windscreen washers: engine F3 (10 A).

Low-beam headlights: engine F17 (15 A) left and F18 (15 A) right. High beams: F15 and F16 (10 A each). Cabin blower: engine F11 (40 A). Petrol fuel pump: engine F5 (15 A) on the documented petrol variant.

Peugeot 207, 206 and later Peugeot models

For the older hatchback, read the Peugeot 206 fuse diagrams. Despite similarities in branding, the electrical architecture and fuse numbers differ. The much newer Peugeot 208 II also uses a separate numbering scheme.

Optional hardtop, engine variants, diesel particulate filter equipment and model-year updates can affect protection. The 207 CC also has roof-specific electrical equipment not established by a standard hatchback table.
