Skoda Fabia II 5J (2007-2014) – Fuse Box Diagrams

Skoda Fabia II (5J, 2007-2014) has a dashboard fuse holder with 58 numbered positions, plus a separate high-current block on the battery in the engine compartment. Fuse assignments vary by year, equipment, petrol or diesel engine, DSG or automatic transmission, and optional Start/Stop. The original sources use different cover labels including 5J0 010 623 A / 675 (early), 5J0 010 743 (around 2010-2012) and 5J0 010 826 P (later).

This English guide preserves all 257 documented fuse table rows in 11 separate tables and all four original diagrams. Multiple rows for the same number in the 2011-2012 comparison sections are alternative functions of a single physical fuse slot, not extra fuses. Where a source has “-” for a rating, do not guess its amperage: confirm the printed cover or correct manual.

Where are the Skoda Fabia II fuse boxes?

Passenger compartment: the 58-position fuse panel is beneath the steering wheel in the lower driver’s dashboard, behind a removable cover. Switch off the ignition, release the cover carefully and compare the slot numbers before removing any fuses. On right-hand-drive cars the access arrangement can differ.

Engine compartment: a battery-top block with high-current protection for the alternator, ABS/ESP, electric power steering, radiator fan and optional diesel or electric heating. The number of battery-top slots depends on the gearbox and production year; the 12- and 13-position variants below are not directly interchangeable.

Fabia II cigarette lighter, wipers and electrical faults

12 V cigarette lighter: dashboard fuse 47 (15 A) in early and mid-generation lists. Later tables may omit a universal rating, so inspect the cover. Front wipers: cabin 44. Rear wiper: cabin 40 in the early 2008-2009 list, but cabin 26 in the later 2012-2014 layout. Heated rear window: cabin 42; horn: cabin 43.

Radio and multimedia: early cabin 19 and 50 (depending on equipment), and further Start/Stop-specific 17 and 50 for later variants. Electric steering: both lower-current cabin control and high-current battery protection are present; a blown fuse may indicate a larger fault.

Compare the Skoda Fabia I (1999-2007) with 68 interior positions and Skoda Fabia III (2015-2017 fuse charts) with 59 interior positions. For another 5J-family vehicle, see the Skoda Roomster (2006-2015); for a separate crossover, see the Skoda Yeti 5L. The 2007 and 2014 model years overlap two Fabia generations, so choose by the actual vehicle generation.

Skoda Fabia II 5J fuse box FAQ

Where is the cigarette lighter fuse?

Dashboard fuse 47, rated 15 A in the early documented list.

Which interior panel does Fabia II use?

The fuse holder beneath the steering wheel has 58 numbered locations.

Why do some positions appear twice in the 2011 or 2012 tables?

They show different possible circuits or ratings for the same position depending on engine, year and optional equipment.

Why are there 12- and 13-position battery fuse diagrams?

Different years and gearbox configurations use distinct high-current electrical distribution blocks. Match the cover and the engine before choosing a rating.

Is the 2014 Fabia always a Fabia II?

No. Fabia III began appearing late in 2014. Confirm the generation before using a fuse chart.

Use only the factory-specified fuse type and ampere rating. Persistent failures require identifying the faulty component or wiring rather than installing a stronger fuse.
