Skoda Yeti 5L (2009-2017) – Fuse Box Diagrams and Relays

Skoda Yeti 5L (2009-2017) was produced with TSI petrol and TDI diesel engines, optional Haldex all-wheel drive, manual or DSG transmissions and different electrical options. Its fuse system includes a panel at the side of the driver’s dashboard and one of two under-bonnet fuse-box configurations near the battery.

The full source contains 20 fuse tables spanning 2009 to 2017, including model-year comparisons before and after the facelift. All documented rows, alternate configurations and three original layout diagrams are preserved here. Unnumbered engine-specific rating continuation rows remain marked as variants rather than invented fuse slots. A trailing note explains the terminal X load-reduction feature during engine cranking.

Where are the Skoda Yeti 5L fuse boxes?

In the cabin: open the driver’s door and remove the cover at the left end of the dashboard to access the numbered interior fuses. Right-hand-drive cars can have a different access arrangement.

Under the bonnet: the covered fuse and relay block is on the left-hand side near the battery. Open the retaining clips and lift the lid with the ignition switched off. The source documents two distinct layouts, so inspect the actual holder and do not rely solely on model year.

Skoda Yeti cigarette lighter, 12 V sockets, wipers and Haldex fuses

Front and rear cigarette lighter / 12 V outlets: dashboard fuse 30 in the documented early and facelift reference. Luggage compartment 12 V power socket: dashboard fuse 26 on the listed early layouts. Later 2017 vehicles can describe the front/rear outlets more generally, but the 30 label remains in the comparison chart. Always check the ampere rating for the car.

Front electric windows: interior fuse 29 in early versions. Rear window wiper: fuse 6 on early and some intermediate panels; equipment changes after the facelift must be checked separately. Heated rear windscreen: position 25 or a year-dependent variant. Haldex AWD: some model years identify the Haldex controller at cabin 16 or 22, so use the year-specific table, not an unrelated front-wheel-drive diagram.

Headlamp washers: interior 31 on several versions. Fuel pump and injectors: cabin 28 and separate under-bonnet power circuits. The engine compartment type and TSI/TDI engine family affect fuse ratings. Do not fit a larger fuse from another engine’s chart.

For other Skoda vehicles with related components but distinct power distribution, compare the Skoda Fabia II 5J, Skoda Roomster 5J and Skoda Fabia III.

Skoda Yeti 2009-2017 fuse box FAQ

Where is the passenger-compartment fuse box?

At the left end of the dashboard, behind a cover visible when the driver’s door is open on left-hand-drive vehicles.

Why are there two engine fuse-box diagrams?

Different powertrain and production configurations use separate electrical layouts. Match the cover and the installed panel.

Which fuse protects the cigarette lighter?

Cabin fuse 30 in the year-specific reference; consult the vehicle handbook for the correct current rating.

Can I replace a blown 20 A fuse with a 30 A one?

No. A larger fuse may let a wiring fault overheat. Use the rating specified on the exact vehicle and diagnose repeat failures.

Are the 2014-2017 comparison rows additional fuses?

No. They list changed functions relative to the 2016 base chart. They do not add physical slots or override the need to verify equipment.

Use the manufacturer’s fuse label, correct type and ampere rating. Source ranges and the listed equipment do not establish that every optional feature is present in every Skoda Yeti.
