Skoda Rapid Spaceback (2017) – Fuse Box Diagrams

Skoda Rapid Spaceback (2017) is the hatchback body version of the Rapid family, with its own rear tailgate, rear wiper and luggage compartment arrangement. The original 2017 Spaceback reference uses the same 59 passenger fuse functions and 20 engine fuse functions as the separately archived 2017 Rapid liftback table. This is an equipment-level commonality, not a claim that every Rapid or Spaceback from other years has identical wiring.

Both original Spaceback schematics and all 79 table entries are retained for drivers looking up a fuse in their own body style. Since the 2017 Spaceback source gives no ampere ratings, values remain unspecified. Equipment such as KESSY, heated windscreen, rear seat heating, trailer socket and optional taxi circuits affects which positions are populated.

Where are the Rapid Spaceback 2017 fuse boxes?

Inside the car: behind the driver-side dashboard fuse access cover, with left- and right-hand-drive access alternatives in the original drawing. Under the bonnet: a separate fuse panel near the 12 V battery. Check the physical fuse labels and switch off the ignition before inspecting either panel.

Frequently checked circuits include cigarette lighter and front/boot 12 V outlets: 44, rear windscreen wiper: 27, heated rear window: 41, fuel pump: 49, infotainment: 50, rear power windows: 10 and 45 and heated rear seats: 18 and 58 on equipped cars. The table retains optional or unused sockets rather than treating all 59 positions as fitted fuses.

Spaceback rear wiper, boot socket and tailgate checks

A failed rear wiper can involve cabin position 27, but on this hatchback the wiper motor and its wiring pass through the tailgate hinge area. Inspect the washer line, tailgate harness and motor if the fuse is sound. The 12 V luggage socket shares the documented cabin 44 assignment; check connected appliances and the socket itself for shorts. Heated rear glass is served via cabin position 41.

For the corresponding liftback listing see Skoda Rapid (2017) fuse diagram. For a different year with real assignment changes, compare Rapid (2012-2013) and Rapid (2016). Do not transfer ratings across years without verification.

Skoda Rapid Spaceback 2017 fuse box FAQ

Which fuse protects the luggage compartment 12 V socket?

The documented cabin fuse position is 44, shared with the cigarette lighter and other 12 V outlets.

Where is the Spaceback rear wiper fuse?

Dashboard position 27. Check tailgate wiring if the fuse is intact.

Are 2017 Rapid and Spaceback fuse assignments different?

Not in the two archived 2017 tables reviewed here: they document identical positions and functions. Optional equipment and wiring still require individual confirmation.

Why is there no amperage listed?

The source gives consumer assignments only; use the actual fuse lid and the manufacturer’s handbook.

Replace each fuse only with the prescribed current rating and investigate repeated failures.
