Skoda Rapid (2014) has a fuse holder beneath the driver’s dashboard and a separate fuse distribution unit in the engine compartment near the battery. The exact circuits depend on petrol or diesel engine, gearbox, optional Start/Stop and factory equipment. These are year-specific 2014 tables, not an instruction to use the same fuse number on every Rapid or Rapid Spaceback.
This English article reproduces all 73 rows in two complete source tables and the two original Skoda diagrams. The Polish reference contains circuit positions but does not supply universal ampere ratings; those remain unspecified. Use the exact owner’s handbook and physical fuse-panel label for the car.
Where is the Skoda Rapid 2014 fuse box?
Inside the car: remove the cover beneath the steering wheel on the driver’s side of the dashboard. Left- and right-hand-drive diagrams are shown. In the engine compartment: inspect the power distribution/fuse holder near or above the 12 V battery. Switch the ignition off, check the actual fuse-box form and refit covers correctly. High-current battery protection should be handled by a qualified technician.
Skoda Rapid 2014 cabin fuses, positions 1-58
In the documented 2014 dashboard panel, cigarette lighter: 47, rear windscreen wiper: 26, front wipers: 44 and 53, rear window heater: 42, horn: 43, and fuel pump/management: 20 and 30-34 depending on the petrol or diesel engine. Not all listed optional consumers are present in every car.

All 58 numbered interior slots are retained, including unused positions and controls specific to the 2014 production reference.

Skoda Rapid 2014 engine compartment fuse layout
The 2014 chart retains the early 58-slot cabin layout and the engine-compartment battery-top distribution block with positions 1-13. It documents 15 rows in this block because two rows are alternatives for the same battery positions 3 and 4; there are not 15 separate slots. The key revisions compared with 2012-2013 occur at cabin positions 3, 4, 14, 16, 17, 22 and 35, including the diagnostic feed, angle sensor and headlamp control.

| Position | Rating [A] | Protected circuit / function |

| 1 | – | Alternator |
| 2 | – | Variant 1: unused. Variant 2: auxiliary electrical heater |
| 3 | – | Passenger-compartment supply, battery block variant 1 |
| 3 (alternative box) | – | Fuse block power feed, variant 2; alternate function at position 3 |
| 4 | – | Electric auxiliary heater, battery block variant 1 |
| 4 (alternative box) | – | Passenger-compartment power feed, variant 2; alternate function at position 4 |
| 5 | – | Passenger-compartment main supply |

What changed in the 2014 Rapid fuse assignments?
The Rapid 2012-2013 uses similar box positions but has several different electronic control assignments. In both the early source and this 2014 layout, the cigarette lighter is at cabin 47; the Rapid 2016 instead identifies it at cabin 44. Check the actual vehicle version rather than assuming the newer position applies.
Rapid 2014: cigarette lighter, front/rear wipers and ABS
For a dead 12 V socket or cigarette lighter, check cabin position 47 in the 2014 chart and inspect the socket for a short circuit. If the rear wiper stops, check cabin position 26 and the tailgate wiring; front wiper protection is documented at positions 44 and 53 for different parts of the system. ABS control and high-current engine-bay power are not interchangeable even where an ABS label appears in both units.
For the next model year, see the Skoda Rapid 2015 fuse box guide, which has a changed engine compartment layout. For a later model year see the Skoda Rapid 2017 and its separate Spaceback hatchback reference. The Skoda Fabia II shares some components but must not be used as a substitute fuse chart.
Skoda Rapid 2014 fuse box FAQ
Which fuse protects the cigarette lighter?
Dashboard fuse 47 in the 2014 source; the current rating must be verified on the car.
Where is the rear window wiper fuse?
Dashboard position 26.
How many cabin fuse positions are there?
There are 58 numbered dashboard positions in this documented layout, but not all contain an installed fuse.
Is the 2016 Rapid fuse table identical?
No. The later source lists 59 cabin positions, a different engine box and cigarette lighter at position 44.
Can a larger fuse be fitted if one repeatedly blows?
No. Use the manufacturer-specified ampere rating and diagnose the electrical fault instead of bypassing protection.
