Volvo S80 II (2007) – Fuse Box Diagrams and Ratings

Volvo S80 II (2007) is a second-generation executive sedan (P3 platform), not an S80 first-generation car despite the incorrect “mk1” title on the archived Polish post. Its fuse protection is arranged in an engine compartment box, a panel beneath the front passenger glovebox and a multi-module left luggage-compartment fuse/relay unit. S80 Executive models may have an additional analogue-clock fuse near the centre console.

This English guide includes all 105 source fuse rows across six tables, plus the four original small-format diagrams. The 2007 European handbook specifies F1 and F2 as 60 A main CEM feeds, engine F13 (30 A) for ABS, engine F26 (10 A) for optional sunroof, F43 (50 A) and F44 (60 A) for cooling fans. This differs from some North American data for later model years. The original Polish 2007 post reused a general table, so the entries listed here have been corrected for the European 2007 reference. Where this model-year source lists a feature as optional or reserved, do not insert a fuse without checking the vehicle’s handbook and fuse lid.

Where are the Volvo S80 2007 fuse boxes?

The main high-current and engine-control fuse block is under the bonnet near the battery, with upper, front and lower sections. The passenger cabin fuse panel is reached from beneath the glovebox. The rear modules are behind the left-side boot trim. Optional S80 Executive clock power is near the centre console. Each rear module starts a separate numbering sequence.

For this European 2007 chart, F1/F2 = 60 A, F13 = 30 A, F26 = 10 A, F43 = 50 A and F44 = 60 A. The optional parking heater uses F10 (25 A) and diesel glow plugs F42 (70 A). The wiper motor is F9 (30 A), heater blower F11 (40 A), ABS valves F14 (20 A), 12 V console sockets F25 (15 A), horn F29 (15 A) and starter relay F34 (30 A). High-current Midi/JCASE fuses require workshop procedures. The table keeps petrol/diesel alternatives where applicable.

Volvo S80 2007 luggage compartment fuse modules

The left boot fuse panel has three independent groups. Module A mainly serves the doors, 12 V socket, heated rear window and trailer. Module B protects heated/powered seats, AWD, Keyless equipment and parking brakes. Module D supplies factory navigation, amplifier and phone/audio equipment. Fuse 6 can represent different circuits in different modules, so always specify its section.

Rear module A: doors, socket and heated rear window

Module A position 6 (15 A) supplies the optional luggage 12 V outlet or refrigerator; A7 (30 A) heats the rear window, and A11 (40 A) is the main factory trailer supply.

S80 2007 versus other years and regions

The 2007 European handbook specifies F1 and F2 as 60 A main CEM feeds, engine F13 (30 A) for ABS, engine F26 (10 A) for optional sunroof, F43 (50 A) and F44 (60 A) for cooling fans. This differs from some North American data for later model years. The original Polish 2007 post reused a general table, so the entries listed here have been corrected for the European 2007 reference. Compare Volvo S80 II (2008) and the Volvo S80 II (2009) as separate model-year references. The exact same fuse label may have a different amperage according to the installed engine, country version and equipment. The shared P3 platform does not establish identical fuse values on the Volvo XC70 II / V70 III.

Volvo S80 2007 fuse box FAQ

Which fuse protects the cigarette lighter or interior 12 V socket?

Engine compartment position F25 (15 A). The rear luggage outlet uses module A position 6 (15 A).

Where is the fuel pump fuse?

Under the passenger glovebox, fuse F22 rated 20 A.

Where is the front wiper fuse?

Engine F9 (30 A); the washer pump is cabin F14 (15 A).

Can I use the same fuse ratings as on a 2009 or 2010 S80?

Not universally. Model-year and market-specific factory documentation must take priority over an internet table.

Why are some original diagrams named 2010?

The Polish archive reused several small fuse-box location drawings across multiple years. Use these for general orientation and confirm the car’s own fuse lid before replacing a fuse.

Cross-check: Volvo S80 owner’s manual MY2007, fuse section pp. 190-193 (European specification). Replace each fuse only with the prescribed type and ampere rating; recurring failures require electrical diagnosis.
