Ford Expedition (2003-2006) – Fuse Box Diagrams and Relays

The 2003-2006 Ford Expedition is the second generation of Ford’s full-size SUV. In these model years the main fuse panel is located below the right-hand side of the dashboard and combines low-current fuses, maxi fuses and relays in one assembly.

The most important split is between 2003-2004 and 2005-2006, because Ford changed several assignments during production. For the earlier generation, use the Ford Expedition 1997-2002 guide. For the next generation, use Ford Expedition 2007-2008.

Fuse box location

The fuse panel is located below the right-hand side of the dashboard on the passenger side. Remove the side trim panel and then the fuse-box cover. The physical layout is similar across 2003-2006, but several assignments differ by model year.

FAQ – Ford Expedition 2003-2006 fuses

Why are there separate 2003-2004 and 2005-2006 tables?

Ford changed several fuse assignments during the second generation, so combining all four model years into one table would hide important differences.

Where is the cigarette-lighter fuse?

Position 41 – 20 A.

Where is the fuel-pump fuse?

For 2004 it is position 9 – 15 A. For 2005-2006 the fuel-pump circuit moves to position 12 – 15 A.

Which fuses protect the low beams?

Position 23 protects the right low beam and position 25 the left low beam, both at 10 A.
