Ford Five Hundred (2003-2007) – Fuse Box Diagrams and Relays

The Ford Five Hundred (2003-2007) uses a passenger-compartment fuse panel and an engine-compartment power distribution box. The under-hood layout changed during production, so the guide keeps the earlier configuration and the 2006 configuration as separate full tables.

The Five Hundred is the direct predecessor to the Ford Taurus 2008-2009. Although the later Taurus shares much of the underlying architecture, its fuse assignments should be checked against the Taurus-specific tables.

FAQ – Ford Five Hundred fuses

Where is the cigarette-lighter fuse?

Passenger-compartment fuse F9 – 20 A supplies the cigarette lighter and data link connector.

Where is the fuel-pump fuse?

In the earlier under-hood layout, position 28 – 15 A supplies the fuel-pump driver module and pump. In the 2006 layout the corresponding circuit is position 27 – 15 A.

Which fuse protects the OBD / data link connector?

Passenger-compartment fuse F9 – 20 A.

Why are there two under-hood tables?

Ford changed the power distribution box assignments during production. The earlier and 2006 layouts are therefore kept separate instead of merging incompatible position numbers.
